5 Simple Ways to Keep Your Clientele
Face time
This is a simple one, but it's true. Despite what you may believe, your clientele wants to know who the owner is, substituting your general manager in this role can and will affect your business. By meeting your clients in person, and giving that one on one communication will deepen your relationship. When was the last time you saw your clients?
What have you done for me lately?
This is a subconscious thought we all have every now and then... We want to know what you have done to promote retention... Think about it, and react on it, you will be surprised how simple changes go noticed and a long way.
Ask your clients questions.
Listen, listen, listen to what your clientele want!!!! Ask questions, take suggestions, make an inertial campaign. Ask: What do your like about our health club? What can we do to make it a more pleasurable experience? You will be surprised what the answers may be.
Stick with What You Know Will Work
This may be a point of contention for some, but the point here is that most clients will never complain with what your core beliefs are as an organization. Stay true to "bread and butter" and go easy on the new experiments you've always wanted to try out. The key is that it's time to do good work and not waste your client's hours on programs your are not set up for.
Measure. Measure. Measure.
Advertising agencies spend countless hours analyzing media budgets and things like "brand recall" yet they still find it hard to put an exact value on a program. Regardless, you should be doing all you can to measure your programs and provide quantifiable results to your clients. This means different things for different programs, but if you're not doing it, your lunch will get eaten by someone who is.
